I've been thoroughly enjoying the show of the day (8.13.79) in Denver and they're just ripping it. Recently i had also listened to a dynamite Folsom Field show which is leading me to wonder about a possible correlation between altitude and a great show. It would be opposite of the legendary Mile-High stadium advantage. Humbly, gm

Having seen the majority of my shows in the Colorado region, I would've loved to say yes, but it just ain't so!

They played some great shows in Colorado and the Rocky Mountain region Summer of 78' 9-7-85 and of coarse The Glen Miller Ballroom show at Boulder in 69 was SMOKIN!

That said, I think the Boys missed the boat here there could have been such majik(intentional) at the Rocks and Telluride. They never seemed to miss the chance to throw in a 'bummer' show when your expectations were "highest"(pun intended).

But as we all know now, even a "bad" show was better than beining anywhere else that day!

PS also don't miss the Mammouth Garden shows in 73-74'

Coming up on a TDIH is the classic Brokedown palace encore from Telluride 1987. The altitude didn't seem to help them on that. Funny as hell though
